O'CHIKARA employs highly qualified trainers and lecturers constantly cooperating with administration of regional authorities, security companies, experts from the police and the Polish Army. As security has become an important issue in all areas of the economy and social environment, O'CHIKARA has developed and introduced a wide range of specialized courses both for individuals and companies.
O'CHIKARA prepared its own expert curriculum which has been positively accepted by government agencies responsible for protection and law enforcement.
We operate several schools nationwide which until now prepared over 18.000 persons to serve in the field of public and private security. Foreign Students Department is located within OCHIKARA School in Poznań.

Excellent location of the School makes city key public offices and attractions within a convenient reach. The building is located in the immediate vicinity of numerous buses and trams, which allow you to easily get to every city point. After classes you can relax in a beautiful park around nearby palm house.
Lecture rooms maintain unique character by large glass surfaces, which perfectly enlighten learning space allowing students to get the most natural sunlight. Each classroom is fully equipped with audio and video aids.

Arriving to Poznan from Warsaw Chopin Airport
Warsaw Chopin Airport is located at 1 Zwirki Wigury Street approx. 10 km from the city centre.
The airport can be easily accessed by car, public bus or taxi. There is a rail link that connects the airport's Warsaw Chopin Airport railway station to Warsaw Central Station or Warsaw Srodmiescie Station. There is an underground passage from Warsaw Srodmiescie Station to Warsaw Central Station (Warszawa Centralna).
The most convenient way to continue your trip to Poznan is by train from:
Warszawa Centralna -> Poznan Główny (Main Station)- approx. 3h

3 weeks Combat & Survival Camp
Students participating in O'CHIKARA Security Specialist Programme will acquire practical skills necessary to perform tasks on duty. Particular emphasis is placed on physical stamina, developing strong personality, stress resistance, ability to deal with difficult situations which require determination, strong will and use of physical force.
Security Specialist Programme encompasses special Psychological Assessment and Training Module formulated to shape traits of character and soft competences indispensable in law & order enforcement working environment.
Thanks to the integrated Psychological module, students develop and master their practical skills in recognizing and controlling aggressive behavior, carrying out successful negotiations or in applying influence techniques effectively.
During the course students will build high self-esteem, develop team-leadership and decision-making competency crucial in complex and stressful situations. They will be ready to take effective response and actions in life or health threatening situations.

Admission & Fees
All interested persons are requested to apply using e-application form available on this site.
Once your e-application has been submitted our Admissions Office will contact you via e-mail and provide further details concerning the admission procedure. It will be only after meeting all admission requirements that you may obtain the decision concerning the admission to study, which will enable you to apply for issuing an entry visa to Poland.
Secondary school diploma and English sufficient to be successful in the learning process are the key criteria for successful candidates. Official Letter of Acceptance to the O'CHIKARA School will be delivered to you in printed or scanned copy depending on the Consul requirement from a Polish Embassy in your territory.
Tuition for Security Specialist Programme reserved exclusively for foreign students is:
- Basic - 5800 EUROS
- Exclusive - 12800 EUROS
12 months Medical & Travel Insurance at the cost of 480 EUROS. O'CHIKARA will arrange insurance policy on behalf of a student and send it in the form approved by designated Polish Consulate to submit along with his VISA application. Third party insurance policies ARE NOT accepted.

All successful applicants shall pay in advance the applicable fees in total:
- Basic - 6280 EUROS
- Exclusive - 13280 EUROS
prior the Official Letter of Acceptance can be sent out to them. Amount due calculated accordingly to selection made when filing e-Application as well as bank details for the payment shall be communicated via email once the applicant has been approved for the O'CHIKARA programme.
Should your VISA application be refused we shall make a refund less 200 EUROS administrative cost.

Visas
As a successfully qualified candidate for the Security Specialist Programme you will be required to stay in Poland for at least 120 days each semester therefore you need to apply for a national D-type visa. The national D-type visa entitles the holder to:
- stay in the territory of Poland throughout the period of its validity;
- additionally move within the territory of other Schengen states for up to three months within a half-year period.

Accommodation
Upon student request we can book accommodation accordingly to preference within the range of available options in the Accommodation bookmark. In this scenario at least one month rent will be added on top to the tuition and insurance fee for the advance payment. We will contact you to decide upon the prepaid rent period.
